If you are like me and don't like spending full price on dining out, I recommend restaurant.com. I have been using restaurant.com for years to save on over 50% off on gift certificates. It is free to sign up and initially, you get 50% off all gift certificates to any restaurant that is listed in your region. If you wait towards the end of the month, there is an additional discount up to as much as 90% sometimes. Of course, the better and more coveted restaurants will be sold out of gift certificates but that's a chance I'm willing to take.
One word of caution is to read the fine print. Sometimes, the gift certificate is not valid on the weekends or for dinner only. Make sure you either call or check with your wait staff, before you place an order. On several occasions, I was stuck with a full bill because I came on the wrong day. To avoid these dilemmas, I only purchase from restaurants that don't have any gotchas. I would also advise to check on yelp.com to make sure that you don't end up dining out on a bad meal.
